The house I moved into recently has this stove, I assume it is pre 1993. The back fan is broke and it doesn't seem to draw well when the door is closed.

I'm not sure it's worth fixing (maybe I'm wrong) but was thinking of turning it into an offset smoker. Does anyone have any knowledge about how this thing was constructed, if I need to be concerned about any kind of paint or alloys that I might not want to use as a smoker?
