Hey all!

I ordered Rock Vent metal roof chimney flashing from Rockford chimney to use with Selkirk stove pipe. I was told by the Rockford sales rep that it was compatible with Selkirk. However, there is a quite a large gap between the stove pipe and the flashing. It would be difficult to fill that with any sort of sealant. Even with a storm collar, I would still be concerned about the possibility of water getting in. Maybe they sent the wrong size? Any thoughts on this? Sorry for the dark photos.

Always thankful for the support and knowledge that can be found in this forum. It has been helping us tremendously with our chimney install!

That does look a bit sloppy. The storm collar should cover it. What does Rockford say?

@bholler, is this a Ventis roof flashing? Any thoughts?

Looks like ventis to me. A little bigger gap than.i remember but it shouldn't be an issue at all
