After cleaning the stove yesterday I noticed a small amount of smoke from a chimney seam at start up. I do have smoke/fire, and CO detectors. Nothing has alarmed.
I searched and found a link for this high temp tape. http://m.homedepot.com/p/Nashua-Tap...-Fusing-Silicone-Tape-Black-1208952/100206050
Will this suffice to fix the leak until the end of the season and we have the yearly maintenance completed? The thread I found the link in was from 2013 so not sure if there are newer or better solutions out there now.
Thanks!
