I'm posting on behalf of my mom. She has a Sierra 8000 TEC and is looking to replace the firebrick in it. Her son-in-law is trying to take care of this but has run into trouble. She lives in a very rural area, and the dealer where the stove was bought is no longer in business. I've searched on the internet but am not finding a description of this procedure for this specific stove, either in video or print (not even in the manual for the stove). Can anyone here direct me to any resources or offer their own story of "how to"? Thanks for sharing your time and experience.
