This has probably been talked about a lot. Sorry.
I have a new old house. The fireplace wasn’t used by previous owner. I had the fireplace and chimney inspected by a pro. He told me 250$ to fill in the cracks. I found I can do it myself with a caulkgun and some special stuff. Found it at Lowe’s . But. I know that some of the cracks are supposed to be there. Which cracks do I not fill? I attached some pics.
