Hello...rental property I have with a gas fireplace and blower, and am.looking for recommendations please. What I'm looking for is any links for a timer. Renters turn it on (no issue with this at all), and then leave it on all day when skiing, or overnight. House is new and the fireplace adds ambiance and heat to the living room, but nothing else as the HVAC is great. Any ideas?

What manufacturer & model are you referring to? I believe you could add a timer in the valve cavity, where there should be a junction box. You’d have to unplug the unit from the junction box, plug on the timer, then plug the unit into the timer. There may be a unit out there that can be activated with a remote, but not knowing your model, it can’t be determined what will suffice.

Just checked, and it is a Heatilator NDV4236IL-B

Looked and saw this, is it possible to wire up to this unit? The current switch has buttons for Pilot, Fire, and Fan.
