Yes, had a small fire in the regency this morning at camp in NW Maine. I’ve noticed the left side heat shield tends to make an annoying rattling noise. Usually if I lightly touch it with my shoe it goes away temporarily but comes back after a while. Figured I could remove it and see if anything looks off before I put it back on. Have you guys seen this before?

I have heard this before on other stoves. Often the rattle occurs when the blower reaches a certain resonant frequency. The rattle may be fixable by tightening all fasteners. If that doesn't work, a non-combustible shim can often remove the rattle. This can be as simple as a small ball of aluminum foil wedged between the stove body and the shield.
