Hello,
I have a ravelli Francesca 2012 pellet stove.
I vacuum the pot and anything around it before every use.
I have done a full cleaning in the beginning of the season. I did not find an exact cleaning of my model but the one on YouTube seemed close enough.
I am sure the pot is clean and not clogged before I start it. I have the power set at 4 and the temp setting at 64.
After couple hrs, I get the message "do fire pot cleaning" (attached) and the stove stops dropping pellets and I am forced to shut it down.
I am not sure what to do when I get that message and my only option is to turn it off.
After it cools off, I check and the pot is not that dirty.
If there a setting somewhere to calibrate that message? I am assume it is not normal that it comes up after 2hrs of use and the only alternative it to turn it off

Any help would be much appreciated
Thank you

I don't know your stove at all, but my first guess would be the combustion airflow. I am not sure what that stove has for sensors or thermostat devices. If I were you I'd do the max case clean and vacuuming including the chimney and the "leaf blower" treatment.
Most people solve their issues with a deep clean. Unless you have a failed component, your problem is ash.

As Whitenuckler said it sounds like your stove is full of ash and needs a full cleaning

Thank you all.
I did a full cleaning in the beginning of the season following a video instructions posted on YouTube. It was not the exact model but it was close. I did not find an deep cleaning instructions for my exact model.

I am interested in hearing from owners of ravelli Francesca if they had similar issues or what deep cleaning instructions they followed.

How many ton of pellets have you burned so far this “season”? When did the “season” start?

It looks like this is the 3 button model, which has the finicky RDS system.

The machine can tell there's an airflow issue and assumes it is in your firepot. I would suggest cleaning the stove, front to back and out the pipe to the top. You can also calibrate the RDS as well, once you verify it is all clean..

Attached manuals may help you with this.

Edit to add: look thru the manuals and look for possible causes before tuning your system to what coupe be an unsafe state. Can't say it enough: please make sure your stove is 100% clean from intake to pipe termination.
