got my insert in january and still learning . which the forum has helped me out SO MUCH !
1) once fire is rolling good do i shut air supply down all the way or 1/2 during the day ? at night i close air all the way and usually turn fan off.
2)does the fan speed do anything for me with getting more heat out ? like should it be on full blast or is it better to keep in down ?
any info you guys/girls can pass on to me to get the best heat out of my insert is greatly appreciated. i have a 2100 sqft house so i know my second floor isn't going to really get heat (or am i mistaken ?) i know that with the insert on first floor and 2 rooms away it keeps first floor at a decent temp and definitely has limited my furnace from kicking on which I'm happy with . thank you all in advance .
