Hi, my bypass rod broke at the threads on my Fireplacextrordinair 36 elite. I am trying to get to where it screws in. I'm going to need to get to where it srews in to extract the broken threads and either repair and replace with new rod. I have the front off and cat out. I am not sure if I need to remove the cat holder assembly, if so how does it come out. I dont see and bolts holding it in.

Any assitance would really help, Lake Placid, NY gets pretty cold,

Mike
