I love this stove, but it is just started doing two things intermittently.

1) occasionally it start up after it gets hot enough. The convection blower will not turn on, but if I lightly kick the stove with my foot, it turns on.

2) occasionally when starting the stove fire, the green light will come on, but it will not feed additional pallets. Red light on the control board will come on indicating the thermocouple right temperature, but it will still not feed pellets. The pellets in the fire pot will then burn through and the stove will shut down.

If I turn it way up and hit the reset button a bunch of times and really get it going then it seems to overcome this and work normally.

These problems only happen when starting from cold and they are intermittent.

Before I tear everything open, what should I be checking inside?

From what you said above, that’s all pointing to a short or plug in connection issue(s), make sure all of the plug in clips are snug on the control board and to each component ie the distribution bower, combustion blower etc. if that doesn’t work, continuity tests would be next

Ensure your ash pan seal it doing its job, clean the stove pipe. All nooks and crannies. Leaf blower trick works the best. Its lacking air movement to bring the heat up to the necessary temp.
