When I start my Quadrafire Bay 1200, it feeds immediately, but the light doesn't come on on the control box.

I've opened the area under the fire pot, which was stuffed with pellets and cleaned it out. Still, the light doesn't come on and the igniter doesn't get hot. I've purchased a new igniter, but the fitting don't seem to be right for my stove. The igniter looks like it has stripped cables which have been twist cap joined to other wires which feed all the way into the control box.

Is there a way, before cutting these wires to twist cap them to the long wires going all the way into the control box, to see if this is the issue as I understand it may be the thermocouple?

Any information and advice would be a huge help. Thank you.

You should repost/move this to the pellet sub forum.

Moved to pellet forum. Before replacing the ignitor, be sure that other safety circuits are not preventing startup.

It's been a couple of decades since I had this stove. It's odd that there is no call light, but pellets are feeding.
