My first winter with a pellet stove, and I was very optimistic since I have been running ours for about 3 months now. However, on the coldest day/night of the season so far, I am having an odd problem. Of course, Englander's Tech Support is closed.
After leaving on Friday with the stove having only minor issues (not able to run it very high on the heat range) we come back to a problem where the augers seem to be running at full tilt 100% of the time. This errors the unit out since it gets too hot - even on fan setting 9 - and shuts down.
Anyone have a similar problem?
I have taken the back off, checked all wires, cleaned the unit inside and out just to make sure.
