Pro Pellets burn great. I bought a couple ton last June. I would buy them again. I have even cooked with them on wood pellet devices. They use soy oil for a lubricant on the processing equipment. I verified this with the factory and they use 100% hardwood.
 
They are a nice burning pellet. Good output without alot of ash.
 
Of the 4 pellet brands I've burned so far these were the dirtiest by far. A LOT of fly ash collected in the heat exchanger causing less efficiency resulting in burning more pellets. Enough fly ash that I got a high exhaust temp alarm from the dirty heat exchanger. Usually clean them once a week but needed twice a week with Pro Pellets. Just my experience.
 
Sorry to hear Whippingwater didn't like them -- My last load was super!
