Hi guys!
I am looking at pulling the trigger on a Princess 29 insert but am concerned about the feasibility of install. My current insulated liner is approximately 15in to center from the front of the fireplace brick. Per the dimensions on BK's website the back of the stove only sits about 12in back into the firebox with the connector only sitting in about 8.5in.
My current fireplace opening is 26 3/4 tall by 34 1/4 wide. I installed the liner myself a few years ago and I know I cannot move the liner forward any further without some serious brick removal. Even then I question how much I would be able to manipulate the 6in liner to make such a sever bend if extra material was removed.
Any recommendations from the experts?
