Been looking at this splitter PowerHorse Dual Split 20 ton Read reveiws and folks seem to like them. Very seldom do we have anything over 24 inches in diameter to split. I like the idea of splitting in both directions. Anyone use one of these and your impresions? We normaly split about 6 cords a year
Our current splitter is about 30 years old and does a good job but it is just way to slow. It has been a tough old bird not a single reweld on it. Been thru two engines and a coupler between the pump and engine. It has a 36 inch cylinder on it which for our old wood stove worked great but now with the ECHO 40 we only need 20 inch wood.
