While it's nice to get a bit extra wood for the trip to the woods, keeping it all together by relying on the saw may be a task better suited to a toy saw than the Stihl.

That's just plain abuse right there!

At least its not a Jonsered!!!!

Just kidding. You would think on something as big as a tractor you could find a good place to keep a saw. But I still have not found a place to mount one where its out of the way easy to get to and won't get hurt.

:ahhh: Eeeek.

I'm thinkin' I would be engineering me up a box to attach to the ROPS or sump'in. Maybe even a rifle sling type contraption.

There use to be a guy on ebay built a wire mesh box that connected on to the top of the three point just for wood makeing and what ever.
I just fill up two saws and throw them between my feet in the cab on the skidder .

Hey guys, why not mount something like this? Perhaps you could fasten it to the FEL? On a fender?

Saw bracket

Yer missin' the point! The saw is holding the stack, effectivly allowing more BTU's per trip ;-)

Seems like a ratchet strap or two would be a lot less expensive than using the saw blade as a wedge.
