    Hello

What system is a good replacement?
What T-Stat for pellet stove and cameras to use? Anyone else in this sinking ship?

    Good article
I did get the compensation and got the SmartThings thingy dingy hub bud. The only Iris item that works on this Smartie is the Garage Door opener so far.
Looks like it will work ok and stop the Big panic when Iris shuts down.
    What T-Stat and Camers?
Ecobee gen 4 looks like a goodie eh??

will you be using the ecobee on a two wire tstat? if so it won't work. i called tech support for a customer and the guy just would not say it's not compatible. kept saying it is because i could run a visible wire along a wall to the nearest plug and install a transformer. dense this guy was. i guess ecobee does not have a power robbing thermostat. there has to be a third wire that is a common.

I installed the 1st version Ecobee Thermostat a few years ago on a Hampton GC-60 FS pellet stove. It had a base module we mounted on the wall near the floor and close to the wall outlet to plug in an AC transformer then we ran the wires up the wall in a Channel to the head which was the T-Stat Control. There were 2 wires from the base unit we ran along the baseboard to the pellet stove. The amount of features was very impressive! I really like Ecobee! It can be controlled with a smartphone app!
