I don't even have a place to put it! It was on craigslist, and the stove was only 50 miles away. I couldn't not. Needs a little work, but in overall great condition. Previous owner removed it from his shop, and set it outside for about a month and it got some surface rust. Anyone have experience refurbishing these stoves? Lucky for me, there are no cracks in any of the stones. Just surface rust, and some discoloration on the stone. I'm wondering if a little buffing of the stone and use will make that go away. Wirewheel the metal and repaint with stove paint?
Bad news is, I was unloading it (by myself) from my truck with the lift gate, and it teetered. I quick put my arm out to catch it, but it was enough to tweak my back. I'm 32, and I've been in bed all week with a bad back. Last time I hurt it was moving my shops Heritage. I should probably learn by now, ahy?
Now all I need is a place to put this stove! It's been a while since I checked in here. Thought I'd give a little update. My ex has the house and the stove in my avatar here. Hence the need for the most recent purchase!
