Hello, I have a Pelpro130. On Thursday it stopped in the middle of the day and I have been unable to get it going again. When I try to start it it drops a few pellets into the pot. I can tell that the igniter is working because they spark up but never fully light. Eventually I get the red light blinking 4 times indicating missed ignition.

I have vacuumed out the firebox, cleaned the firepot, emptied all the pellets from the hopper. We even removed the cover over the auger and vacuumed that area to make sure it was not clogged. I also removed the right hand panel, pulled out the vacuum hose and blew into it and put it back.

Any thoughts on what the issue could be and what I should try next? Thanks in advance.

Is the combustion fan blowing? Is it getting oxygen? Maybe your igniter is bad and isn't getting hot enough to ignite the pellet, only make it smolder.

I can hear a fan so I think so? Maybe the igniter is the issue. I had assumed it was an all or nothing kind of situation but maybe there is debris that is making it work less efficiently...

Did cleaning it fix it?

Another odd issue, I have noticed if I am running my whole house fan, for some reason or another I would get a missed ignition? Ever since I have stopped using it, or rather days I don't use it, I do not have that issue. Honestly wonder if it fights for draft with the vacuum switch,

*edit* I would get 1 red flash (empty hopper). Excuse me.
