Hi all. New to this site. I have an older Erin Renaissance pellet stove. Last winter we started smelling smoke in the basement. I replaced all the gaskets but we still get smoke. I can see small wisps of smoke with a flashlight coming from somewhere In the front of the stove. Any idea what we could try. We love the stove and would like to repair it if possible. Thanks for your help.

Door should be under a vacuum unless its one of the few stoves that are under pressure. I would think the exhaust fan could be the culprit or post connections.
I did change all gaskets on the door and ash pan. Also changed the gasket for the glass in the door. What would be the best way to check to see if it is the exhaust fan? Thanks for your help.

Your going to have to strip the stove down enough to see the exhaust fan, its housing and the jucture to the exhust pipe. Start it up and shut down lights in the room and check for smoke leaks with a flashlight when starting as thats when the stove usually makes the most smoke. Good luck
