Did you also clean the area the eye is pointed towards, lens, slit, whatever. How about making sure the wires going to the eye aren't blocking it.

It isn't seeing the fire on low from the sounds of things. Likely still a bit of dirt somewhere in the light path, the eye could also be out of position.

On a more serious note:We don't know what kind of stove you have.I have a P38 Harman with a manual set dial 1 through 5 then turbo boost.I have to keep mine at around 1 1/2 or above or it will shut down.So you might have to keep yours above a certain point?

We have never let a minor detail like lack of knowledge of the stove's make and model stop us before.

My St Croix Greenfield has a "draft trim" adjustment that will adjust the combustion blower speed to compensate for a chimney with a strong draft (that will extinguish the fire on low burn)... what kind of a chimney do you have?

what kind of a chimney do you have?Heck,we can't even find out what kind of stove?????????????????????Come on dennisswaim help us out a little here...

what about not feeding it enough pellets to sustain fire (my first thought) on low setting

On my stoves, if the hopper is low and the combustion blower/heat level is on Low, it doesn't generate enough vacuum to hold the vacuum switch in. Too much air gets sucked through the non-sealed hopper lid.
