Hello,
I am replacing a wood stove with a pellet stove. The current stove is a free standing wood stove, vented straight above through a sloped roof.
Currently, it has (1) 4' DVL pipe and a 2' telescoping section connecting to the wall. It is all 6" DVL Pipe.

-Do I need any cement or gasket material where the pipe peices join? (There isn't currently)
-Can I re-use the telescoping 2' section
-The pellet stove has a 3" exhaust outlet, can I use a 3 - 6" adapter here?

The pellet stove exhaust outlet is about 16" lower than the current set up, so my plan is to add a 2 ' fixed Peice, and re-use the telescoping section in a smaller configuration.

Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks!
