Good Evening...
This is my first season burning with my P68. I guess that it would make sense that I would use more pellets, given that it's a much larger stove than my Accentra insert. That said, I've only operated my P68 in stove temp mode. My question is this...Will more pellets be consumed in that mode vs room temp? Is it a significant difference? I understand that in room temp that I select a temperature and leave it there. Once up to temperature (which really never happened with my Accentra because it was very undersized for the space I had it in), I understand that the stove cycles down, which will obviously use less pellets. Is there a way to operate in room temp mode, have the stove cycle down, without killing the flame and needing to re-ignite every time or is that simply what you have to deal with in room temp mode? I suspect the answer is no, but just trying to find the right balance between heat and fuel consumption. Harman doesn't really seem to address pellet consumption in the various modes from the material that I've read. Any and all feedback is welcomed and appreciated.
