Hi all,
Years ago I lived in a 1920's farmhouse that had no ducting upstairs. In the ceiling of the heated downstairs, running up through the floor of the unducted upstairs, were these pass-through registers that allowed the heat to flow up to the rooms above. They had louvers to close them off in Summer, and one even had a fan mounted in it. They were about a foot square.
I've been looking everywhere for them, to facilitate air flow in the two story I'm in now, but Google has been no help at all. Anybody ever see these vents for sale anywhere? They would be so perfect.
Thanks,
Bill
