I thought the door hinge just had a pin on that stove, but could be mistaken. Or is the pin assembly loose on the stove body?

It's the hinge pad? Where it bolts to the stove. I'll go to the thread and look. Thanks.

Does it tap into the stove body or is there a nut on the backside?

Nut on the backside. I've tried tightening, but it only gets so snug and then spins again. So I am assuming the threads are gone. Renting this house and this is the stove it has.
