I just picked up a Harman Invincible T

It has been painted with an off white almond color porcelain paint.

There are a bunch of chips in the finish, which is like 1/8 of an inch thick.

Can I just sand down the paint and spray over it with enamel spray paint?

It does not need to be perfect I just need to make the stove look clean and non rusty again.

Below is a pic of the stove

Ok So from what I have been reading online it seems that I can sand the stove with some 100 grit so the new spray enamel will stick.

Then just spray over everything.

Does this sound about right to you guys?
