Hey all, I'm trying to identify this Pacific Energy insert that's available nearby for a decent price. The seller didn't have much information to provide. It looks almost identical to the current Super and Summit models but I don't know how long they've used this form factor and if this would be a less efficient stove. Thanks for any info!

Good stove. Looks like ours, I'm also not sure what model it is, a lot of them look very similar.
I see one local here for sale used for $750 CAD. Looks like a good deal if I wanted a backup. I wish I had somewhere good to store one. This is ours. 35° today, basement stove is doing the whole house, P.E. gets the evening off.

Thanks for the response! These do look similar with the vent holes on the sides. I'm curious about efficiency. Does yours have secondary a secondary burn at least?

Yes it does have a secondary.
The efficiency is okay, I can just get 8hrs out of it, super easy breathing stove with effective air control. It really can pump out some heat. We used it almost 100% for our heating needs in winter (not so much shoulder seasons) for 8ish years, It came with our house 9 years ago and has been trouble free. I prefer it over the Enviro Kodiak insert of similar size that I installed at our previous house. These are the only 2 inserts that I have personal experience with.
New Blaze King in the basement this year, The P.E. has been a very nice unit this year to top up our heating needs on colder days.

It's been in that form factor under various names for around 20 ? yrs. They were sold as the Pacific for awhile. What's important is how it looks inside the firebox.
