I just received heat shields, however there were no instructions as to the installation. The manual shows a picture but which leads me to beleive I am to loosen the 2 screws on the side and attach the shield to them. However, I do not want to start messing with screws if i am not 100% sure. Any advice would be appreciated, thanks.

Also, is is normal to for flying embers to land in the ashpan still glowing?
