Ordered an Englander 30-NCH from Home Depot tonight. $649 + $31ish in tax for a total of $681.45
Pretty good price for such a large stove - with very good reviews on this forum.
This stove will go in the basement of my new addition when it is complete. This stove was not on my list of stoves to consider, but the price and positive opinions on this forum swayed me to give one a try. I had consedered a Dutchwest XL Cat, PE Summit Classic, another Woodstock Keystone and a Woodstock Fireview too.
In the end, with the big $$$'s I am shelling out for this addition, I felt trimming the stove budget was the way to go for now. If we like it, we will keep it. If not, I should think I could sell it for about what I paid, but not for a larger loss that may have done with a more expensive stove - we'll see.
I didn't order a blower, I may rig-up something for much less $$$'s.
Thanks for eveyones advice/opinions on this stove and the posts of Home Depot marking the down so much. I've still got the Keystone and it is staying in our living room - soon to be a more formal living room and the 30-NCH being a basement/den install on the other end of the house.
Thanks again,
Bill
