Hi All
I wonder if you can help. I recently recovered my families beloved gnome parlor Stove from our forest cabin that was destroyed by an avalanche earlier this year. The cabin was knocked 20 plus feet from the foundation and stuck 10 feet up in the trees on big rock and my log pile. Amazingly once the snow melted and I was able to asses the damage our wood stove was sitting on its side hanging out, seemingly undamaged.
I was able to winch it out and it was missing a foot and the cast iron transition piece between the stove and the riser pipe was damaged.
I wrote to Thelin and they no longer make parts for older stoves.
I still don't know what this part is called to even do a Google search.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you
Charles

I was finally able to get this fixed. I spoke with my neighbor and he thought it could be welded, though wanted me to find the missing pieces. I was able to find the broken shards embedded in the old brick firewall that was laying in the ruble.
He gave the part and the missing pieces to the welder and he ended up braising the pieces back together, i added some high temp paint, made a new gasket, added some BBQ high temp paint to the stove, polished a few pieces and swapped out my old stove. Now the dragon is back in its rightful place on top.
