Last April there was a thread on Vermont Wood pellets versus Okanagans. Any new or changed opinions on the pellets?
I've started burning a few Vermont bags. My impression is that they burn pretty hot and fast, may have a little odor here at the start of the season with the igniter going off and on and therefore less continuous burn. Vermonts seem like a pretty good pellet. I like their being produced locally and the price is the same as for Okanagans.
I'm well set for winter 2011-2012 but would like know what your current experience is and especially if it has changed this year.
