The wealth of Canada lays in the shale oil Alberta is producing. Could be the same thing as North Dakota and Montana?

There's a TON of oil in America, but why would we want to pump it out of the ground when we can trade our paper money for the rest of the world's oil?

Seriously, why would I cut my own trees down when my neighbor will sell me his for monopoly money? We should keep ours in the ground untill the Middle East is dry.

You are talking about shale oil. The problem is getting the oil out of the ground.
