For cleaning stainless steel, it's recommended to use a Poly brush as it won't scratch. Is the Nylon version from Bluesea ok? (Nylon is Poly, is it not?) Just not sure, don't want to scratch the interior. :)

Yes, that should be fine.

The thinner liners need something other then steel, steel can rip / poke holes in a corrugated liner, I have a class A chimney and its recommended to use a poly brush head, to be honest the poly head is pretty rigid, when its finally time to replace it, I'm going soot eater route, seems like a better product with a better clean.

Slightly off-topic: Ive used a steel brush for decades to clean several stainless steel liners. Recently, I became aware of the "only poly for stainless" camp so I ordered a poly brush and its quite useless for me, being just a bit too small in diameter. NOW, I've become aware that when people mention "stainless liner" most of them are not referring to a rigid liner like I have. So, for future searchers, can we settle it here that a steel brush is ok for a rigid stainless liner? My experience would say so, and that they are indeed better.
My poly brush was a Midwest Hearth.
My liners are Heat Fab Saf-T-liner, now Selkirk I believe.

I use a rotary poly (drill driven) brush for my rigid liner. One can cut the lines to size.
