No call light even with jumper for thermostat

I recently acquired and old quadrafire 1200 fs stove. I was able to get it to run by jumping the #1 snapdisc and the thermostat connection in the back.
Here's my problem: the call light never comes on. The auger only turns for a few seconds after powering up and then will not come on again to feed pellets into the bowl.
So should the call light come on when i jump the thermostat connectors?
PO replaced control box and thermocouple but didnt replace broken ceramic cover.
I replaced thermocouple again and ceramic cover as well as ignitor.
I have manually loaded bowl and jumped vacuum switch and snapdiscs 1 and 2 and it runs and burns fine and control box lights red and then green when temp gets low, but auger will not turn on. Also, i did find i had connectors backward for TC which i corrected.
So im thinking that since the call light isnt turning on, thats why the auger isnt being turned on?
Any help would be appreciated. Ive searched for days and found nothing about why the call light doesnt turn on when tstat is jumped.

Did you test the auger motor to see if it runs?
If you jump the Vac. switch and snap discs #1 and #@2 it runs fine
keeps burning and feeds pellets. Or no pellet feed?

Does this stove have a hopper switch? Some quadrafire 1200 do some don't.

Did you check the switch setting on the control box? It should be set on 1 or 2.
