Hi- I’m a little confused by this spec sheet. It says 310,000 Btu. But then it goes on to give Heat Output/H (a minimum and maximum) - which are nowhere near 310,000, and then further down it says : Delivered heat output/ which again is nowhere near 310,000 and are different numbers again from the Heat Output. ???? Can someone explain to me what each of these means?? Thanks! Patti

Newmac pro 7000, specs. BTU’s

310k BTU is over the whole burn time for the load, often 8 hrs, but they list 15hrs on low (sounds very optimistic to me) so 310,000/15=20,666 which is lower than they say, but most manufacturers seem to fudge the numbers...EPA test results are the only way to get hard numbers, but VERY few post those numbers...Lamppa mfg is the only
one I know of (Vaporfire 100 furnace)
The 72,509 btuhr they list would be running on high burn/max output (again, sounds high to me, especially on a 3.6 CF firebox)

That's me running as fast as I can away from that furnace. ;lol
Gotcha.
I don't recall horror stories on the Newmac though...I'm I forgetting something?

not necessarily, there are more bad than good furnaces out there so it was just an educated guess on my part as to which category that one would fall into. ;lol

Yeah, I'm sure there are better options out there...

Is this a new epa 2020 furnace?
I dont think they make furnaces anymore...or maybe not even in business anymore?
I would guess this is either a used furnace, or some dealer has NOS...or maybe someone bought one and never installed.
