Hello and thank you for letting me be apart of the forum! New to woodburners and looking for the right stove for my application. I want to supplementaly heat aprox 1200 sq ft while taking up as small of a footprint as possible. Therefore I am looking for a relatively shallow stove with minimal clearances to combustibles. I just missed a Marketplace deal on an Englander 17-VL. I think this would have been a perfect stove for my application but it seems as though they have been discontinued? Are there any comparable stoves on the market now or any classics I should specically keep an eye out for on the classified pages? Thanks!

The Drolet Deco Nano would be a good option. It's a little larger than the 17-VL but loads N/S which is an advantage. This makes it deeper but a bit less wide. A used Drolet 2110 or 7110, Jotul F3CB, Hampton H3 would also work.
