A friend cut down an White oak and I picked up 1/3 of the load. I also started splitting it. I know I know it will make nice heat in 2 years.

Is that a metal stain on the round on the left? If so that's a near miss for sure!

I'm not sure on that one. Further up the tree there was a piece of electrical wire embedded. When I go out today I'll take a look.

times on that side. I had to turn it over to get that split.

Those spikes have a very different feel than barbed wire when you go through them. Takes more than a file to clean up the mess too.
