Hello all, these are my two birmingham stoves. The pot belly I have restored best I can fabricating the parts I couldn't find. No I don't intend on using it in the configuration and place it is in. This was just a mock up for future placement. I do like lightning then on a cool evening outside though. I have yet to date them. I'm not sure how or wear to do so. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks again

Your potbelly looks great! Make sure to leave a lot more room around that potbelly! Since it’s unlisted it’s going to need more clearance to combustibles!

Here’s my Atlanta No. 40 called the 1888 Conestoga. (On barrel at rear) This is one of the few in my collection that has never been fired.

Atlanta and Birmingham catalogs are extremely difficult to find. I’ve wondered about the size of these small pot belly stoves. Can you give us some comparative numbers of yours?

# 40;
The opening on top for lid is 5 inches across, with 5 1/2 diameter lid.

9 inches across top of fire pot.

25 1/4 high, 26 overall floor to top of collar.

5 1/4 diameter grate.

Ash opening 7 X 3.

You should be able to elongate a hole for a flat plate slider for air adjustment. A flue damper is required for both of your stoves.
