Hello

Noticed the manual locations in this thread has changed
https://www.hearth.com/talk/threads/new-to-pellet-stoves-england-25-pdve.122371/

This is the new location for the manual mralias referred too.
(broken link removed to http://www.heatredefined.com/assets/images/general/pre-04.25-PDV.pdf)

Also here is what the "E" in 25-PDVE means:
The "E" stands for Exempt (as in Exempt from EPA rating)
The "H" stands for Home Depot
The "L" stands for Lowe's
All of these stoves are the same model as the 25-PDV

Thanks for the info, Don. Now I know what the "E" in the PDVE stands for. However, if the E means exempt from EPA ratings, does that mean that the stove was not meant for sale in the US? As in for export only? Maybe someone can fill us in.

Not at all. Pellet stoves are so much cleaner and efficient they were all exempt from EPA rating. Now they are setting up the standards and in a few years they must all be rated for efficiency. :-(
So changes are being made, I have a friend working on a new smart stove and the fan speed that blows the heat out will no longer be adjustable by the user because it would change the efficiency!!$@&!
Is that good? :-(
