We are in the process of a 3/4 season room addition. We will be installing a Jotul GF 160DV MV in a corner for clearances. Are the rough in boxes for the gas shutoff a good idea? How does one incorporate a sediment trap on that? Venting should be simple as it needs a min 2' vertical and then 90 out
Im guessing the wall thimble/cap can go out/on before siding?
Biggest challenge will be fishing a gas line thru a chase from the unfinished laundry area to the exterior corner. Any other considerations?
