Have a bunch of leftover vegetable oil after turkey frying, and a bunch of cardboard egg cartons. Poured some oil into the cartons until saturated. They light off fantastic. Faster than my normal sawdust/was starters and not as fast or as bulky as paper. Super easy to make. My house doesn't smell like McDonald's, but ymmv.
