I need a new chain, any preference on brand or type?

This is for my 27" bar. I know there are skip tooth, different gauges, etc., Does thicker mean better? Woodland vs.. Oregon? Looking for any suggestions.

Thx.

27 does not sound right.....Probally a 25

Clean hardwoods, or downed last year with dirt and junk frozen in the bark, or nasty skidded stuff ?

Saw?

Lotsa stuff to consider.

It's an Echo CS-60 that I bought a 27" bar for bucking. The chain they included with the bar goes dull fast. The 20" bar & chain rips kicks butt. Mostly for clean hardwoods..

I know nothing on this one.

looking it up you need a chain with these spec's

This bar uses 93 drive links of .375" x .050" (1.3mm) gauge chain ORF 72LPX93

A local place can make you up a nice chain where abouts are you located? i know of one in kensington near the turnpike.
