I have a Nashua stove that I love. I replaced the glass by drilling out the rivets and putting new rivets in the brackets that hold the glass. The rivets only lasted a few months and the brackets popped off. What am I doing wrong? Is there a better way to attach the brackets? Or a certain kind of rivet?
Feel free to call me on my cell at 276-690-051eight.

Can you post a pic of what you’re dealing with? I can’t seem to locate an exploded parts view. Rivets tend to be constructed from softer metal in order to allow the deformation required to give them gripping power. I’d suggest threaded fasteners if it’s possible to use them.

Yes, a picture of the door showing the glass clamps would help. If using pop rivets, they should be stainless steel rivets. Standard aluminum rivets won't last long.
