Well, my stove is fixed and we've been able to burn the Lignetics. Granted, I'm a newbie at this but the difference in ash was very noticeable. They both burn well and hot, no difference there. But the ash from the O'Malley's had me scraping the pot several times a day. We were burning 24/7 and going through 2 bags a day at least with those O'Malleys so I assumed there would be ash but I've been running all day on the Lignetics and I haven't scraped it once. I'm sure I will scrape it before heading to bed for the night but I was surprised at the difference. Just thought I'd report on it.
