Can you clarify what is going on at the tank. Is the tank pressurized or open? If open, what type of HX? When the system is in the mode where the biomass is directly supplying your zones, is the return to the biomass going through the tank?

Yes it is a 500 gallon propane tank pressurized, I could have put a T in there in the return I guess. After looking at it, the flow was going the wrong way in the boiler. The cold water entering the boiler can crack it if the cold comes in the top.
