My 6 month old Lab eats anything sourced from a tree. I made her an 8" chew stick out of hard maple and she ended up eating it all but a small 2" stub. This morning she ate a sheet of paper with my "Waffle's of Insane Greatness" recipe (check google for it), and if there wasn't a tiny corner of it that I pulled out of her mouth I would have spent hours searching my file cabinet and piles of papers for it.
So of course when I drop a pellet she pounces and devours it. Do other pellet owners have this same problem? And is it really a problem? A pellet seems like a much more benign morsel than a page of paper or a 7" maple stick. Just wondering......
