just got a monster oak for tuesday AM less than a mile from the house pic's to follow! (should be well over 45in.)
 
You can't ask for much more than that! Well, unless you can get someone else to haul brush and put the rounds in your truck/trailer... :cheese:

thats funny because someone has already cut it back to the trunk they just didnt have enough saw to get it!

Those are my favorite finds! Lots of barkless wood, no brush to haul, and I get to let the 3120xp eat! :coolsmile:

lol the 460 has been ripping for more than 4 hrs an anoter hr to go, wow that oaks heavy 16ft long and 45 in wide! have to 1/4 every pice
 
Sounds like a monster, are you sure that cute saw can handle it. :-)

Nice! I'll bet that's close to 3 cords in that log if it's a solid 45" around from end to end.

Nice! I'll bet that's close to 3 cords in that log if it's a solid 45" around from end to end.
all soild sweet took almost 2 gallon of fuel
 
That's a lot of cutting time!

Sounds like good justification to buy that 880 or 3120XP! :coolsmile:

yes sir 880 3120 just way out of my reach 2000.00 that 460 done really well heck if I was cutting any faster then I would have been on the splitter more. lol got some pic's I will post after while

ha ha ha some jack@ss brought this tree down and I knock on the door about a month ago he said that there friends was wood burner and was cutting it for that. I said when they get to that trunk and if they cant handle it I live around the corner where all the big piles of wood is at, last night he showed up and the rest is mine

That's a very nice chunk of oak! Looks like white oak, or maybe bur oak? Some heavy duty splitting in that one!

pretty sure its white oak and yes my fourarms are smoked.Very heavy stuff even the small splits were heavy
