Could someone explain this diagram to me? I am trying to make sure I understand the clearances/floor protection requirements for an upcoming corner hearth install of a Regency stove. I am not doing the install myself but would like to make sure I understand the clearances/floor protection requirements.

This figure above references the following figure below

While I understand dimensions "L" and "M," I do not understand "N" and "O" because the angles in the figure seem somewhat random. I'm installing the stove into a noncombustible corner hearth (walls/floor covered with stone). Thanks for any assistance.
