Gonna be gettting my chimney brush soon was wondering what you folks have to say in regard to metal or plastic brushes. I have a metalbestos chimney set up and double wall stove pipe leading to the chimney.

Ditto to Robbie. I have heard that the metal brushes can damage the metal chimney, just be sure it's good and cool before you clean it with the plastic (nylon) brush.

Metal brushes are for masonry flues, plastic is for stainless/metal flues.
